Description

It felt like he'd spent half the war cooped up in this ship, of course, it was a decent ship as far as ship's go, but it was small, painfully so. Ace had been lying on his bunk, walking his feet up the wall,
"Nitroooo." Ace whined, rapping his fist on the wall behind him, if he was going to be stuck in his tiny box any longer he was going to go insane. When he got no response from the next room, Ace repeated the action, though this time, he rapped a little harder and retrieving his staff, he used that to make some noise also,
"Nitrooooo! I'm bored!" He insisted, doing this twice more before he finally he heard heavy steps next door. A grin quickly appeared on the silver mech's face and he swung his legs down, so that when his door slid open with a hiss, Ace was waiting there in the sexiest pose he could muster.
"Oooh Nitro, you came!" He purred, running a hand down his thigh just to emphasise the point. Nitro seemed momentarily surprised, but then realised whom he was facing and his brows suddenly furrowed again in fury.
"Can't any bot get a decent recharge around here?" He hissed, his hunched shoulders taking up as much of the door-space as he could despite his generally smaller stature.
"Aww c'mon man! You recharge like, all the time!" Ace insisted, not at all intimidated by the black and red mech's posturing as he lazed back on his bunk, "I'm gonna go crazy if nothing interesting happens, let's go bug Radon or something."
The silver mech, though trying to act nonchalant, found his optics flicker away from the bot in the doorway, normally he would have suggested they annoy Turbo... but he wasn't here anymore...  But the frustrated growl coming from Nitro drew Ace's optics back to the one whom he'd, for a long time, considered his close friend. But there was no closeness in Nitro's optics right now, just a burning frustration covering something else, something Ace didn't see.
"Stop acting like a newborn." He hissed, "You're not funny, you're not special, you're just being a pain in everyone's afts." He snarled, advancing on Ace who winced but then pushed himself up on the bunk, fighting between indignant and upset, but either way, there was evident confusion there as to why Nitro had lashed out so readily.

"Hey, Chill Nitro. I just thought we could have some fun." Ace responded defensively, unwilling to stand up and meet Nitro's challenge as the red and black mech stood over him menacingly. The young silver bot couldn't say what happened to his friend, Nitro had changed so dramatically from the one he knew after they'd left Cybertron, and Nitro wasn't shedding any light on the matter.
"That's always it, isn't it? Just having fun. Well you know what? -" But Nitro never got to finish that sentence, because a moment later, a large red mech ducked his head through the door,
"That's enough. Both of you." He commanded, his voice gruff and no-nonsense. It seemed as though the black and red mech was about to argue, but then with a small growl, he retreated, pushing past the big red mech on his way out.
"Radon. I'm requesting a room change. Again." Nitro grumbled, but before he could make his escape, Radon reached back, placing his hand on Nitro's shoulder.
"Not so fast. I have news. Necromancer and his armada have gone down at a small galaxy not too far from here. The exact location has yet to be confirmed, but we have reason to believe he may have landed on a small planet known as 'Earth' to it's inhabitants." He told them both, causing Ace to perk up a little with interest,
"Inhabitants?" He asked curiously, eagerly,
"Yes, the planet is inhabited, the dominant species is intelligent and though somewhat primitive, they've developed enough technology for us to tap into their systems. By the time we get close enough, this ship's systems should have adapted to the degree we can use this technology to learn more about the planet.

The prospect of inhabitants, and intelligent ones, excited Ace, maybe he'd finally have some people to talk to, to interact with. Ever since Nitro got a stick up his ass, things had been admittedly lonely here. Not that the others weren't nice and all, but they had little interest in engaging with Ace they way he wanted to be engaged with. Hurrying past Radon and ducking the way Nitro tried to throw him off balance as he passed. Ace made his way quickly to the observation deck, placing one hand on the console as he peered out into the endless space, the same scene he'd been seeing for so long now. But there, in the distance, he could see the planet, and after a little digging into the monitor system, he spotted the small blue dot in the distance...

So this was Earth....
