I'm removing Ace from this group and therefore he is no longer a Rohkuh or affiliated with the group. Although a nice group, I found the rules restrictive in a way I did not feel was fair or reasonable in terms of an artist's rights to their own character and creative property. Therefore I have respectfully and with no animosity, removed myself and my characters from the group.

Ahhh finally done this! Found this awesome little group and decided to jump in with little Acey here, it's pretty interesting so you guys should check it out! ;D

<sub>From moment one, Accelerate comes across as an incredibly extroverted and charismatic individual, while his appearances have never caused him to stand out from a crowd, his personality is immediately noticeable. When he walks into a room, it’s instantly filled with his energy, within minutes of arrival he’s on a first name basis with everyone in the room. He greets people with enthusiasm and shows a genuine interest in each and every person he meets. His usually ever-present smile and laughter is infectious, Ace loves people and he loves to be around them, he gains energy by interacting with people and the more people he’s with, the more he lights up. Of course on the opposing side, this absolute enthusiasm and energy can be intimidating to those who aren’t as socially confident, and although Ace isn’t a naturally intimidating person, dealing with someone who has that kind of energy can be off-putting to some people. Despite this, linked to his insecurity and fear of being alone (to be mentioned later), he has always made a conscious effort to learn how to deal with people who have a lesser self-esteem and knows how to tone it down in order to make people feel more at ease.

Despite all Ace’s charisma and extroversion, they do have a tendency to work against him also, he’s known for having an intense and almost boundless well of energy that makes him incredibly tiring for others to deal with for any amount of time. This is where Ace has a tendency to lose people as they become exhausted by him, and as a result have a shorter temper and less tolerance for his antics. Not only this, but his energy paired with his charisma and extroversion leaks into a childish nature, despite what he’s been through, he has a very immature manner, he loves to giggle, laugh and to play, shying away from responsibilities in which he could potentially disappoint people. This can be incredibly frustrating for people to deal with, especially where work is concerned or in any situation within which Ace is asked to take on a leadership role. Unofficially, he is capable of providing guidance and encouragement in a manner that is more mature, resembling better his age, however he actively avoids any official responsibilities or leadership. Despite his charismatic nature, Ace isn’t a particularly deep thinker, and despite occasional moments of clarity, Ace often has trouble articulating his deeper thoughts and feelings and as such, when asked to explain his intentions or why he thinks a certain way, sometimes he cannot correctly articulate himself which can give him trouble getting his point and intentions across, which in turn ends up with people frustrated with him and Ace ending up upset.

The young Rohkuh also has quite a compassionate nature and a strong maternal instinct that leads him to want to take care of just about everyone he meets. He has an affectionate nature and has no trouble displaying his love whether it be romantic or platonic and has a tendency to commit his emotions on a dime. This leads to his naivete, his view of the world and of other people being fundamentally good. He believes there is always good in every person and they simply need the opportunity to show it, as such, he has an incredibly trusting nature and is very easy to take advantage of, whether it be proto or highborn, Ace always gives them a chance, and a second, and a third, even when it seems glaringly obvious, Ace always chooses to see the best in people, he’s gullible and is easy to lead on. This could very well stem from his insecure nature that even he himself doesn’t consciously know about. Ace has a deep set phobia of being alone and will panic when he thinks he has no way to contact others, this is what manifests in this extroverted and childish persona, a fear that if he doesn’t serve some value, people will leave him behind, namely he does this through being entertaining and caring towards others. He is very passive and people-pleasing, his submissive nature further allowing others to take advantage of him. He wants people to like him and to be okay with him, which leads to the doormat tendencies he displays. He tends to internalise things when others don’t like him, and will often go to great lengths to earn their approval. He’s quite sensitive (though albeit sometimes oblivious, things can hit him hard or fly right over his head), and it doesn’t take much to lead him to think he has done ‘something wrong’ and when he believes he has, he quickly becomes very upset and tries to atone for whatever it is, even if it, in reality, has nothing to do with him. This insecurity isn’t always obvious to people as they tend to be a little more concerned with Ace’s significant energy and tendency to spend it doing something that could well be considered reckless or daring. As long as it doesn't involve someone else getting hurt, Ace tends to be a little more optimistic about his chances of success when it comes to situations that others might consider dangerous. It’s not actively trying to find trouble, but looking for a way to entertain himself, and simply making one, or several judgement errors. Nonetheless Ace lives life to the fullest and also loves to the fullest, when he does something, he does it with all his body and soul, and that’s what the people closest to him love him for.</sub>

Backstory: 

<sub>Ace was born into his third life with no recollection of his former two, he lived in the city under the oppression of the new king, his parents did their best to shield him from it however their efforts were in vain. Ace's mother had become the target of a few drunken royals looking to let off a bit of steam, these things often received a blind eye because of the class bias between protos and the rest. Ace's mother was eventually killed by the Royals and his father having tried to defend his mate, was sentenced to death for crimes against the royal class. It left Ace an orphan, but he wasn't the only one by a long shot, he was put in an orphanage with other pups, taught that the high king was to be served and that they were to do their royal duty and give their lives. It was here that Ace met Nyx, another pup in a similar predicament, the two became close and soon both she and Ace would adamantly insist that they were siblings in their previous lives and no one could tell them otherwise. They, along with the other young orphaned proto pups weren't treated with any sort of love and kindness, instead raised and trained to serve as soldiers, explorers or servants. Ace seemed immediately ill-fitting to the life of a soldier, lacking any sort of aggression or desire to hurt others, but, it wasn't as if those training him really cared about that.

As Ace grew, he never really excelled in fighting, but he was able to hold his own and seemed a good all-rounder and he was good for keeping up moral despite the treatment he endured. As they reached adulthood, they were finally assigned to their roles in life, Ace having been assigned as a soldier while Nyx was an explorer. Although they argued passionately to be allowed to work together, their desires meant nothing as protos. So they parted and Ace began his life as a soldier. The young Rohkuh was a simple guy and so long as he didn't have to hurt anyone, which, despite his role, he didn't meet much trouble. He found a group of friends and came to enjoy his life despite the way protos were treated. It all came crashing down, however, when the former king attacked the city, once moment it seemed peaceful and the next screams split the air and their world was coming down around them. Soldiers were ordered to attack but finding bearings in all the chaos was near impossible, people were being cut down left and right by the old king, nothing stood in his way. Ace had never wanted to hurt the old king, and instead turned his energies towards trying to save people around him, to get them out of the city. It was then he met Nyx again, the explorer had returned having heard what was happening, together they fled the city, desperately trying to save all those along the way. As they reached the lower floors however, trying to evacuate the protos, it all came down around them, trapping them deep under.

By some miracle, a bunch of those who'd become trapped had managed to survive the attack, kept out of the old king's wrath by pure luck alone. Ace managed to help gather some of those others who'd survived and they began to exodus the city before the new king could get his bearings and force them back underground. With some difficulty, they managed to escape the city and join rebel groups outside of the new king's influence, where Ace got the chance to explore and live free and equal to others, where he also managed to finally foster his lifelong passion for singing by getting a job in a bar as an entertainer, singing and dancing the night away to bring a smile to the faces of those who heard him. He there met a young Rohkuh known as Flower, rumours had spread around that this particular person was a proto who'd been known to capture rebel protos and torture them for information to take back to the new king, he was despised among those who heard the speakings. Ace, however, too trusting and optimistic or his own good, reached out to this individual, finding him being attacked by those who hated him for what he'd done. Ace took the young man in and nursed him back to health, it took some care but Flower finally was able to come to terms with what he had done and the remorse he felt. It was then that he and Ace became fast friends, finding commonalities between them that had them getting along famously. Friendship flourished into a crush which in turn became romance and the two have been inseparable ever since.</sub>
